Comprehensive Eye Exams

Dr. Lisa Porter offers a very comprehensive eye exam. In addition to testing for visual acuities, Dr. Porter also performs a thorough screening of the eye for possible health issues such as cataracts and glaucoma.

Children's Examinations & Eyewear

The American Optometric Association has recommended that all children receive regular eye care beginning at six months of age, again at age two, and before the child starts school. As an InfantSee provider, Dr. Porter routinely performs free screening exams for all infants up to the age of twelve months.

Contact Lens Services

Dr. Lisa Porter specializes in difficult contact lens fits. Our office has had wonderful success fitting patients with astigmatism, bifocal contact lenses, and dry eyes.

Treatment for Eye Infections

Dr. Lisa Porter provides medical treatment to patients for a variety of eye health conditions. Dr. Porter is licensed to diagnose and treat eye infections, seasonal allergies and other eye health issues, most covered by medical insurance.

Surgery Co-Management

Dr. Porter routinely screens patients for laser refractive surgery and can answer most questions regarding the procedure. Dr. Porter can refer you to a qualified surgeon for the procedure and perform all pre- and post-operative exams.

Special Testing

Dr. Porter will screen and test for eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts. If you have diabetes, Dr. Porter will send an Eye Evaluation Report to your Primary Care Physician stating the results of the dilated eye exam.
